Tactical gear is where our story began.
Before Extreme Outfitters became known for archery and bowhunting, the business was built around tactical equipment, knives, and gear for the military, law enforcement, and outdoor communities.
As Extreme Outfitters grew, so did its focus on archery and bowhunting. Over time, those two sides of the business developed into very different customer bases with different needs.
Rather than trying to serve both markets under one name, we made the decision to separate them.
That's where TacticalEdge.com comes in.
Back to Our Roots
TacticalEdge.com carries forward the tactical and knife side of the business with its own identity, dedicated website, and focus.
Our goal is to continue building a strong selection of tactical knives, everyday carry equipment, military gear, and accessories while making it easier for customers to find exactly what they're looking for.
From OTF and automatic knives to folding knives, fixed blades, and tactical equipment, we're continuing to expand our selection around the products our customers want.
Two Brands. Shared Roots.
While TacticalEdge.com and Extreme Outfitters serve different markets, they share the same roots and retail location. TacticalEdge.com operates from inside Extreme Outfitters in Jacksonville, North Carolina, near Camp Lejeune. Our team packs and ships orders directly from Jacksonville, and local customers can visit Extreme Outfitters to shop available products in person. We're not just an online storefront. There's a physical location and a team you can contact when you need help.

We're continuing to expand our inventory, improve the online shopping experience, and build TacticalEdge.com into a destination for knives and tactical equipment.
